Our promise

Your personal information matters to us. This policy explains, in plain words, what Buiss9 collects, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal information to anyone. This wording should still be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (passwords are stored in a scrambled form that even we cannot read).

Delivery details: the addresses you save and the name and phone number you give for each order.

Order activity: what you buy, returns you request, reviews you write, vouchers you collect, and messages you send to shops or to our support team.

Payment evidence: if you pay by bank transfer, the receipt photo you upload so the shop can confirm your payment.

Seller information: if you open a shop, your business details, verification documents and payout bank or wallet details.

Browsing signals: what you search for and view is stored against a random device code, not your name, and is used to improve search and suggestions. You can turn personalised suggestions off on your device.

Why we use it

To deliver your orders, confirm payments and keep you updated about each order by notification, email or SMS.

To prevent fraud and keep shoppers and sellers safe.

To show you things you are more likely to want, based on your browsing on this device.

To run the marketplace: paying sellers, handling returns and refunds, and resolving disputes.

Cookies and stored data

Buiss9 uses a small number of cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, language and theme, and keep the site secure.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

You can clear these in your browser at any time; the site still works, but you will need to sign in again and your cart on that device will be emptied.

Who can see your information

A shop only sees what it needs to send your order: your name, phone number and delivery address for that order.

Courier companies receive what they need to deliver the parcel, and payment providers (such as JazzCash or Easypaisa) receive what they need to complete a payment you make.

Our staff can access account and order information only to run the marketplace and help you, and every sensitive staff action is recorded.

We may share information when the law requires it, for example with an authorised government request.

We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with advertisers.

Marketing messages

Offers and sale announcements are only sent if you agree. You can withdraw that permission at any time in your account's notification settings. Essential order messages still arrive, because they are part of the service you asked for.

Your data, in your hands

You can see and correct your details in your account at any time.

Signed-in shoppers can use Download my data on the Account page to receive a copy of everything we hold about them — profile, addresses, orders, reviews, saved items, price watches and notifications — in a single file.

You can ask us to close your account through the Contact us page. Some records, such as completed orders and payments, are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.

How we protect it

Your information is stored on secured servers, connections are encrypted, and only authorised staff can view it. Passwords are stored scrambled so they cannot be read. No system is perfect, but protecting your data is a responsibility we take seriously.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version is published on this page with the date it was updated. Continuing to use Buiss9 after a change means you accept the new policy.
